Libar

Musical expression of the group Libar is based on polyphonic singing that varies within different musical genres. The solution stems from the idea of the chords that occurs by simultaneously switching multiple tones / voices, thereby creating a new impression of interwined sonority. In this case, portraits of the group members are printed on a transparent film and with their overlapping, unique visual chord is achieved. Parts of their songs are hand written on the silhouette created by overlapping, and thus was created the identity of the cover.

5th Mediteranean Film Festival Split

Mediteranean Film Festival Split is held every year in the open air cinema “Bačvice” in which, thanks to the outdated cinema equipment, visitors can experience different situations which became extinct in the modern cinemas. Due to the characteristic "uncomfortable" chairs made in the eighties of the last century and a nonexistent slope terrain, the obstruction of the view at the projection of the film is a common phenomenon. The concept for the poster stems from the situations in which the back of somebody’s head from the front row blocks the view at the screen, so the visitors are forced to move and find better position in order to see the film. Vertical typography on the poster also suggests the head movement similar to the movement when searching the best position on the chair, in order to read the necessary information. Thanks to these situations interaction between the viewers is created thus reviving the characteristic Mediterranean spirit of the Festival.

2. MAGfestival / Poster

2nd Chamber Music Festival at the City Museum of Split. 27.8 - 5.9. 2011.
The objectives of the poster are to show facade of the old City Museum of Split (place where the festival is held) and the atmosphere during the festival of chamber music. Since it is a museum with a long tradition, which is considered to be quite conservative, we decided to break the myth of the formality and the severity of the museum and classical music as well, using the infantile drawings. The illustrations are divided into two plans; cold and more technical one, which shows the museum, and the other, which is colored and shows instruments that breathes life.

Dani nove glazbe 2010 / poster - program

"New Music Days" is a contemporary music festival specialised in music emerged in the last 25 years and it represents a cross section of musical events in Croatia and the new music worldwide. The concept of poster is based on the basic typographic identity which, in combination with the notation markings for dynamics, is leading towards the creation of a certain tone or sound when reading the poster. The program of festival events is printed on the back of poster; therefore by simply overlapping it the festival program booklet is created.

FMFS 2010 campaign

The campaign concept originates from contemplating human beings and their fascination with other human beings which is immanent in the film industry. In everyday life that notion is expressed through gossip or small talk, especially common for the Mediterranean. By communicating with the portraits of common people this series tried to raise curiosity among local people and communicate with the broadest spectrum of potential audience. Each poster is intended for a certain group of people depending on their age. The combination of posters creates a mosaic of people that inspire the life of the festival. Laid back character of the festival is emphasised by infantile illustrations, film titles and directors' names similar to those that can be found on the streets.
